I have felt an attraction to the priesthood ever since I was three years old. As I got older, that desire only continued to grow. It was fostered by great examples of priests truly living a life worthy of the priesthood--and I'm happy to say that now, more than ever, I find myself surrounded by awesome priests that continue to kindle that excitement for the priesthood within me.
Jared Hernandez
During adoration one Saturday night as a teenager, I asked Jesus to reveal His plan for my life, and in the silence I felt Him say one word: "priesthood." Years later, during the 2020 pandemic, I surrendered my will to God more fully and received the grace to freely enter seminary.
William Heiny
God called me to seminary through continual small promptings and invitations. Ever since I was nine or ten years old, I have had an attraction to the priesthood, which deepened as I began to pray in my last two years of high school.
Jesse Larson
God called me to be at IHMS when I was at college at Michigan Tech. During my second year there, I was heavily involved in my college parish and, in prayer, I gradually heard God's call for me to join the seminary with my home diocese, the Diocese of Superior, which sends their college seminarians to IHMS.
